About Zion Parish Primary School.

Zion Parish Primary School is a co-educational national school under Church of Ireland patronage. Our school is located next to the grounds of Zion Parish Church in the small village of Rathgar in South Dublin.

We have 4 multi-grade classrooms (ie. Junior and Senior infants, First and second classes, third and Fourth classes and Fifth and Sixth classes.), 2 Support Teachers and 1 Special Needs Assistant.

Our Golden Rule is ‘Be Kind and Gentle’.

Next Generation EU Project Our school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU. The funding was used to give all children in the school access to digital technology. We purchased ipads, digital subscriptions to literacy and numeracy apps and upgraded our infrastructure to include Wifi.
